to Practice David Heinemann represents clients in many types of civil litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the United States. He has significant experience in a wide range of litigation matters, including product liability defense, insurance coverage litigation, commercial litigation, class actions, trademark litigation, and defending businesses against employment claims. He is a Shareholder of Shank & Hamilton and has an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating awarded. Before joining Shank & Hamilton in 1999, he was a shareholder at a large, well-respected Kansas City law firm where he gained invaluable litigation experience and training. Through statewide voting of peers, Mr. Heinemann was selected as a Missouri and Kansas 2006 Super Lawyer. Mr. Heinemann graduated magna cum laude from the Duke University School
of Law in 1987, where he was selected to the Order of the Coif. He was
also elected to the staff of the Duke Law Journal and served on its editorial
board. Following law school, he served as a judicial clerk to Judge James
K. Logan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia
(magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) in economics in 1984. |
