Christopher Shank represents clients in many types of civil litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the United States. He has significant experience in a wide range of litigation matters, including product liability defense, insurance coverage litigation, commercial litigation, class actions, and defending businesses against employment claims. Mr. Shank serves as national products liability counsel for several major manufacturers.

Mr. Shank is a founding Director and Shareholder of Shank & Hamilton, PC. He has attained an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest awarded. Through statewide voting of peers, Mr. Shank was selected as a Missouri and Kansas 2005 & 2006 Super Lawyer.

He is a Fellow of The Litigation Counsel of America, a trial law honorary society.  

Mr. Shank served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable William R. Collinson (United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri) from 1980-1982. He received his B.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1977 and his J.D. in 1980 from the University of Missouri-Columbia Law School.

Mr. Shank is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and is a frequent speaker of national product liability conferences.
